Torrid Networks and Beyond Security Partner to Launch Best-of-Breed Information Security Products in India

Automatic detection and informed remediation of loopholes in an IT infrastructure hasn’t been easy before for many organizations. This partnership would help organizations to leverage the automated vulnerability management platform and proactively fix the security loopholes in their network and applications.

Torrid Networks Announces Strategic Spin-off to Form ZoNIX Systems for Offering Specialized Managed IT Services

Torrid’s focus on information security services lead to formation of a separate entity, ZoNIX Systems, for catering to managed IT services

NOIDA, NCR, India - January 21, 2009 – Torrid Networks, a leading information security and managed IT services company, launched a separate entity to render managed IT services and IT infrastructure solutions to its customers. Since its establishment in 2006, Torrid Networks has been serving more than 30 clients with its expert information security and managed IT services and has also developed open source based IT infrastructure solutions deployed with over 50 clients globally. With rising demand and altogether different target customers for both the information security and managed IT services, company announced this week that they will render their two niche services under different entities. Torrid Networks will now offer information security services with expanded service portfolio to target larger customer base, whereas managed IT services and IT infrastructure solutions would be catered by the spin-off company, ZoNIX Systems.

November 17, 2009: Launch of India's largest InfoSec event in New Delhi

Organized by Torrid Networks' founder, Dhruv Soi, Securitybyte & OWASP AppSec Asia Conference 2009, India's largest security conference, opened its doors today at the magnificent Hotel Crowne Plaza in Gurgaon, National Capital Region, India. Gurgaon is one of the most prominent outsourcing and offshoring hubs in the world and houses regional headquarters of many multinational companies. It has also been proclaimed the best city in India to live and work according to a recent survey by Business Today magazine.

Last year, Dhruv Soi, Chair - OWASP India, organized the application security centric OWASP conference at a slightly smaller scale. This year, he wanted to cover more than just Web application security, so he ideated Securitybyte and brought a more diverse range of security subject and issues. He also plans to make this a yearly event, since the interest for this kind of topics is great.

Torrid Networks' founder - Dhruv Soi, who also chairs OWASP India and is partner at Securitybyte, organizes India's largest information security event in India to establish "premium security education platform for public – private sector" on 17th-20th November at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Gurgaon.

Set up with the mission to increase the awareness about information security in the industry, academics, intelligence agencies involved in protection of nation's critical infrastructure and other government bodies are going to participate in the event along with over 200 CXOs from Fortune companies.
