Torrid Networks Announces Strategic Spin-off to Form ZoNIX Systems for Offering Specialized Managed IT Services

Torrid’s focus on information security services lead to formation of a separate entity, ZoNIX Systems, for catering to managed IT services

NOIDA, NCR, India – January 21, 2009 – Torrid Networks, a leading information security and managed IT services company, launched a separate entity to render managed IT services and IT infrastructure solutions to its customers. Since its establishment in 2006, Torrid Networks has been serving more than 30 clients with its expert information security and managed IT services and has also developed open source based IT infrastructure solutions deployed with over 50 clients globally. With rising demand and altogether different target customers for both the information security and managed IT services, company announced this week that they will render their two niche services under different entities. Torrid Networks will now offer information security services with expanded service portfolio to target larger customer base, whereas managed IT services and IT infrastructure solutions would be catered by the spin-off company, ZoNIX Systems.

Since the inception of Torrid Networks in 2006, the company has seen unparalleled and steady growth even in the year 2008-09, when most of the companies were just trying to survive. Torrid Networks has been remarkably successful in building trust for its customer as a preferred technology partner to achieve an year-on-year growth of 162%.
